Vaccine registration process
1. First go to the Covin app. Enter your mobile number. Enter the OTP and log in.
2. Now choose one of Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Pension Passbook, NPR Smart Card, Water Card, Unique Disability ID, or Ration Card as ID Proof.
3. Enter the number, name of the ID of your choice. Then select Gender and Date of Birth.
4. Once the member is added, enter the PIN cord of your nearest area. The list of vaccination centers will come up.
5. Now select the date, time, and vaccine of the vaccination. Go to the center and get vaccinated.
6. At the Vaccination Center, you will need to provide the reference ID and secret code information that you will receive upon registration.
7. This way you can connect another member with your login and register their vaccination.
Emergency use of Covexin on children 12 to 18 years of age
At present, only 15 to 18-year-old children in the country will be vaccinated against corona. The government has not yet decided on the vaccination of children younger than this. Although the Drug Controller has approved the emergency use of Bharat Biotech’s Covacin on children between the ages of 12 and 18, the government has now decided to start vaccinating only children between the ages of 15 and 18.
