The standard 10 and 12 board exams will be held from March 28 to April 12. While the annual examination of standard 9 and 11 will be held from 21st April to 30th April. So the practical examination of science stream will be taken from 2nd March to 12th March. While summer vacation will be from 9th May to 12th June. The new academic year 2022-23 will start from 13th June. Exam dates have been changed in view of the Corona epidemic.
Detailed information regarding changes in board exam dates
In the interest of the students studying in Std. 9 to 12 in all the secondary / higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Government and recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, the second examination / prelim examination of Std. It has been decided to extend the dates of Std-10 and 12 board exams, practical exams as well as Std-9 and 11 annual exams.
In accordance with the decision made by the Government in the situation of Kovid-19 in the academic year 2021-22, starting direct educational work in schools from 15/07/2021 to Std-12 and from 26/07/2021 in Std-9 to 11 schools. came. In order to complete the syllabus and also to give more time to the students to prepare for the board exams of Std-10 and Std-12, it has been decided by the Government to change the dates of Std-10 and Std-12 board exams and take these exams back two weeks. In addition, it has been decided to extend the dates of second examination / prelim examination of standard-9 to 12, practical examination as well as annual examination of standard-9 and 11. Accordingly, the date of summer vacation and start of new academic session-2022 has also been changed.
In the wider educational interest of the students of Std-9 to 12 by the Government of Gujarat to provide sufficient time for the students to prepare for the exams as well as the students can perform well in the exams and brighten their careers. The following decision has been taken by the Education Minister of the Government of Gujarat, Shri Jitubhai Waghan to make the following amendments in the dates of various examinations from 12 to 12 as well as summer vacation and start dates of new academic year 2022-23.

An estimated 32 lakh students of Std-9 to 12 of the secondary / higher secondary schools recognized by the Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will benefit from the aforesaid student-friendly decision of the Government of Gujarat. Students will be able to prepare well for the exams as well as join the further higher studies of their choice by doing well in the exams. Thus, the aforesaid decision of the Government of Gujarat will provide ample opportunities to the students for adequate preparation for further studies as well as enable them to make their careers brighter.
